Team Rules
Dear Teams!
For the African Cup Augsburg 2025 at TSV Firnhaberau, Afro Passion would like to share the following information and rules with you:
Number of players
1 Goalkeeper (GK) and 6 field Players
Start of the tournament
Teams must be at the sports field by 9:00 a.m.
Rules of the tournament
If a Team scheduled to play is not there yet, that team is disqualified from the match.
The point goes to the team that is on the field at that time.
Disputes with the referee during a match will result in a warning, in the form of a yellow card.
Only the Captain may speak to the Referee.
Changing room
After using the changing room, we ask you to take your belongings with you and leave the changing room clean and tidy. Please do not use the sink in the restroom to wash your shoes, as this will clog the drains system.
Access to the sports field
Each team will receive 12 “Wristbands” for access to the sports field. Wristbands must be worn before the start of the tournament and kept on until leaving.
To support the tournament, the tournament fee is €2 for adults; children up to 17 are free. Donations are always welcome.
Please share this information with your family, friends, and acquaintances.
We have planned a play area with a bouncy castle for children (ages 3-12).
Player equipment
A player may not wear any clothing or equipment that may be dangerous to him or another player (including any type of jewelry).
Player Substitutions
Flying substitutions are possible at any time.
The substitution takes place from a specific touchline within the team's own half (as determined by the Referee).
The substitute may not enter the field of play until the player being substituted has left.
Back Pass
If the goalkeeper touches or controls the ball with his hand after an intentional pass from a teammate - indirect free kick (analogous to the rules in standard football)
Free kick (FK)
All free kicks (including corners and kickoffs) must be taken indirectly. The only exception is a penalty kick. The opposing players must be 2 meters away from the ball.
Time penalty
Yes.
Duration: 2 minutes
Offside rule
Has been repealed
Referee
The Referees will immediately stop any unsportsmanlike behavior, such as sliding tackles, provocations, insults, physical attacks, etc., and, if necessary, punish the player with a sending-off. Only the team captain may discuss the matter with the referee; no one else may! Any participant (Team) who does not adhere to this rule may be disqualified from the tournament.
First aid
It is recommended that each team purchase a first aid kit, a cooler box and cooler bags.
Catering
The teams will be provided with one 24/12 bottle water pack (0.5/1.5 l). A deposit fee applies for the bottles, which must be paid upon collection. Teams can bring their own food, but this is for the players' use only.
Food stands will be available on-site.
Cleanliness
Each team is responsible for keeping their pitch clean: water bottles, leftover food, plates, and all trash must be cleared away!
Trash bags will be provided.
OUR REQUEST TO YOU!!!
Show respect in everything you do on this day and hold on to your strength: Team spirit!!
The tournament is all about friendship, solidarity, and bringing people from different communities together.
The Afro Passion team wishes you a successful tournament.
